About us
Cottage Malina offers quality accommodation and relax in a peaceful mountainous environment of the Great Fatra National Park (Narodny park Velka Fatra), approximately 2,5 km from Ruzomberok town centre, Liptov region, Slovakia. It is located only 200 meters from the well-known Ruzomberok Malino-Brdo ski & bike resort.
Our guests can visit nearby thermal pools Thermal Park Besenova or Aquapark Tatralandia Liptovsky Mikulas, both open 365 days a year. Vysoke Tatry (High Tatras), Nizke Tatry (Low Tatras), Chocske vrchy (The Choc hills) and Rohace mountains lure tourists with their unforgettable hiking paths. Vlkolinec village - an open air UNESCO World Heritage site museum offers an interesting glance into Slovak history. A trip to underground natural caves in Demanovska dolina (Demanovska valley) is especially refreshing during hot summer days. If you prefer to relax and simply enjoy quality time together with family and friends, you can take a nice walk in the nature surrounding the cottage, use outside grill in the garden or have coffee or snack on the terrace. To fully experience the taste of Liptov region, Slovakia, we recommend a dinner in one of the local restaurants serving traditional Slovak food.
Cottage Malina has two floors. There are two identical apartments on each floor. The capacity of each apartment is six regular beds plus two extra beds possible in the living room. Thus Cottage Malina offers accommodation in four suites with max. capacity of twenty-four regular beds and eight extra beds. There is a separate entrance into the owner’s apartment from the North side of the cottage.
